Day 252

Grandma and I took my youngest to the park for a bit after I got off work. It was such a nice day, it would have been a waste to not spend at least some time outside. We were pushing Matt in one of the swings. A few times, I'd catch the swing and hold him in place for a few seconds, which he thought was hysterical. It also gave me the opportunity to catch his little eye peeking out at me through the openings in the back.

I thought it made for a kind of artistic, creative photo.

Day 180

It was such a gorgeous day today that I thought it would be fun to take the boys out to the park for a picnic dinner. One of my coworkers recommended this park, which is not too far from our house. It has this small lake, an awesome play structure, and a great set of paths for Paul to ride his bike. We'll have to go again when the boys can spend more time playing.

Day 94

I took the boys to the park today to get some time out of the house and burn off some energy. We went to one of our local parks that has farm animals, swings, and lots of walking trails. There is also a kind of silo that has an upper section where the kiddos can go and run around.

The first thing Paul wanted to do was go up the stairs to look out the windows. I took this picture through the fencing protecting the kids from the open window. I thought the darker edges picked up from the fence while shooting through the open holes were kind of cool. It's also nice to see the evidence of Spring.
